The activity is linked to energy supply, energy conservation and energy efficiency achieved by further development of the energy systems. This will contribute to an economically responsible domestic exploitation of energy sources, to a reduction in the negative environmental impacts of energy use, and to stimulate the development and introduction of energy efficient technology, while at the same time achieving healthy and safe interior climate conditions and working environments. This is a multidisciplinary field founded on comprehensive evaluation processes, and where we work in particular with efficient energy use in buildings and interior climate systems which are adaptable in terms of their energy source.
The specific component aims are to determine which parameters influence the overall energy system, to develop methods for the design, implementation and operation of energy supply systems, buildings and interior climate facilities, and to develop systems and products which will make it possible to exploit energy within a fluctuating market in a manner which is sound both in terms of its environmental impact and resource use. |
