The history of multiphase flow is a true history of success. From the first ideas on co-transport of unprocessed oil and gas emerging in the industry in 1978 to the present and beyond, countless billions of "kroner" have been saved by joint efforts and long-term technology development. It is the story of a highly successful co-operation between authorities, research institutes and the industry. One major conclusion can be stated - technology development takes a long, long time.

SINTEF also contributes to the Technoport technology festival with stands and conferences in other areas, like ICT and Health and IT. See Technoport's webpages for more information.
The objective of Technoport is to open up between various fields of technology and lines of business - and people will be able to experience, look at, touch, and be intrigued by technology. How was the technology developed? How does it work? What are the consequences? How will technology influence our lives in the future?
