The Flow Technology group carries out research in flow related phenomena by combining technical disciplines such as:

• physics and mathematical modelling
• measurement techniques
• software development and information technology

The scientific problems can be described as a single phase or multi-phase problem, and chemical reactions or phase transitions may often be of importance/significance. The research field for the group can therefore be summarized into "reactive multi-phase transport."

Our strategy is to be an advanced user of advanced commercially available tools for flow modelling. When these commercially available tools prove to be insufficient for the problem at hand, we utilize our competence in order to develop the necessary tools.
