A key element in the development of new and improved technology is the collaborative work between laboratory testing to the process simulation level.
Our laboratories include large number of advanced experimental equipment as well as a pilot plant for CO2 capture with absorbents. The results of the experimental work are used for validation of process simulators as well as screening of new absorbents and novel technologies. The simulation models can in principle describe the details of the system which includes vapor liquid equilibrium (VLE), reaction kinetics and transport properties.
