Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) using CMOS/BiCMOS and SOI technologies
SINTEF has extensive experience in analog and mixed signal ASICs designs, spanning a wide variety of process technologies and end applications. Current activities includes the design of high temperature integrated circuits, biomedical sensing systems, precision electronics for measuring femtofarad changes in capacitance typical for capacitive CMOS fingerprint sensors, signal processors for ultrasonic imaging, and signal processing for radiation hard environments.
 
SINTEF works closely with our customers as a team, providing the design expertise and experience needed to implement system concepts in silicon, examining tradeoffs and optimizing the technical and economic viability of projects.
 
SINTEF is involved in the whole design and development process and follows a well structured design methodology in our design and development projects. The expertise ranges from process and transistor/device level, to system design, integration, evaluation and release to production.
