Mer info og påmelding foregår her.
  • Internal seminar
Test lectures for position within Offshore Wind Turbine Technology (OWTT) at department for Civil and Transport Engineering. The two qualified applicants will give their test lectures on respectively Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 September in L1-320 (in Lerkendalsbygget) from 8.15 to 9.00. They are both given the same topic: Given a site for offshore wind production with a water depth of 50 m, an annual average wind speed of 11 m/s, and where the size of the wind turbine should be about 5 MW. Explain the principal steps / design procedure towards a final design.

Michael Muskulus will lecture Monday 19 and Jan van der Tempel on Tuesday 20 September

    Time: 14th-19th of August 2011
This year summer school will focus on three main areas:
1   Dynamic response of floating wind turbines to wind, waves and current loads
2   Physical processes in the atmospheric boundary layer inside offshore wind parks
3   Wind turbine design, small scale flow phenomena and blade response

Registration at www.norcowe.no before Friday 29 June 2011.

This seminar addresses the research and development on deep sea offshore wind power through invited presentations by industry and research. Emphasis is on presenting results from the strong Norwegian research programmes on offshore wind power.

The seminar has been arranged every year since 2004, and has been established as an important venue for the wind power sector in Norway. It follows the line of the previous seminar with all presentations in English allowing for more international participation, poster presentations by PhD students and a strong focus on deep sea offshore wind technology.
