The design technologies cover methods, tools and architectures for designing advanced analog and mixed signal nanoelectronic circuits within economical and technical constraints. The activities are concentrated on managing the design complexity and the design productivity for system on chip (SoC) or system in package (SiP). The research is focused on application and design platforms, verification and post fabrication tests, reconfigurable front end architectures, and design flows.

Simulation and CAD tools are essential for the design activiies and the model accuracy for the devices and interconnect is critical.
